HeartSpoken helps you turn real memories, details, and promises into speeches, vows, and toasts you can say out loud. You bring the meaning. HeartSpoken uses AI to shape and stitch together the answers you provide. It does not know the people in your speech, and it does not invent stories, dialogue, traits, or feelings you did not give it.

This Privacy Policy explains what information HeartSpoken uses, what stays on your device, and what is sent when you create or refine drafts.

What stays on your device

Your saved speeches, drafts, notes, and recordings are stored on your device.

HeartSpoken does not use accounts. We do not run a user database for saved speeches, drafts, notes, or recordings. These items may be included in your normal device backups, depending on your device settings.

Recordings stay on your device. HeartSpoken does not upload, review, or listen to your recordings.

What is sent to create or refine your drafts

When you create a speech, vow, or toast, HeartSpoken sends the information needed to create your drafts to Anthropic, our language-processing provider.

This may include:

• names you enter

• your role or speech type

• the couple, partner, or honoree names you provide

• your answers to prompts

• relevant context needed to shape the draft

When you refine a draft, the speech text and your refinement instruction are sent the same way, so the revised draft can be created.

This information is sent securely in encrypted transit and is used to create or refine your drafts. Anthropic processes this information according to its own privacy policy.

HeartSpoken does not store this information after the response is returned.

Purchases

HeartSpoken Pro is a one-time purchase handled through Apple's in-app purchase system.

We do not receive or store your payment card information. Apple processes purchases and provides HeartSpoken with confirmation of your purchase status so the app can unlock Pro features.

Microphone access

HeartSpoken may ask for microphone access if you use recording or practice features.

Microphone access is used only to let you record and play back your own practice sessions. Recordings stay on your device unless you choose to share or export them using your device's own sharing tools.

You can change microphone permissions at any time in your device settings.

What we do not collect

HeartSpoken does not:

• require an account

• sell your personal information

• use advertising trackers

• use third-party ad SDKs

• use cookies in the app

• listen to your recordings

• review your saved speeches or drafts

Crash reports and diagnostics

HeartSpoken uses Sentry, an error-reporting service, to help us find and fix crashes and technical problems.

If the app encounters an error, limited diagnostic information about the crash may be sent to Sentry. This may include technical details such as the app version, device type, operating system version, and crash information.

This information is used only to diagnose and fix problems. It does not include your speech content, prompt answers, saved speeches, notes, or recordings.

Children's privacy

HeartSpoken is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
